Using Google for your Google Optimization

It takes many hours of dedication, research and testing in order to stay ahead of the pack in the search engine marketing industry, particularly in terms of focusing on the world’s current number 1 Tier I search engine, Google. The development of a solid but dynamic Optimization ( Google SEO ) strategy requires knowing as much as possible about Google’s own internal strategy, both its long term business plans as well as any structural or technical changes to how Google ranks websites or even allocates Quality Score within its AdWords program.

Knowledge is power but knowing where to accrue the right knowledge is just as powerful.

What is SEO? Why is it important?

Google causes a flutter on Twitter
At 6:01pm, February 25th, Matt Cutts, the head of Google’s Webspam team posted the following ‘tweet’ on Twitter:

“Yes, @google is really Google on Twitter. Looks like 1500 followers in about an hour. Welcome to the conversation, @google!”
Overnight, Google’s followers on Twitter went to 15,000.

What this means is that the world’s top Tier I search engine has set up a profile on Twitter and will be ‘tweeting’ (i.e.: posting) valuable information and links on the live Twitter feed.

This offers potentially, considerably valuable information to you, whether you are a business executive, an google SEO specialist or simply curious to query the next move Google will make.

Other ‘simpler’ Google gems
Beyond utilising the vast array of social media that are become a constant and unavoidable proliferation in our lives, there are a number of more traditional mediums that Google offers on which it sheds light on key issues online as well as providing a number of helpful tips.

Strike a balance between the resources you utilise. It is always worth knowing what Google’s got to say, particularly if this search engine is your business’ tier I revenue-generating machine.
