Three TEDTalks That You Should Have Already Watched

Businesses today face a constant battle of discovering new and innovative ways to improve, but with so many different avenues to success these decisions can often be paralysing.

To make your decision that little bit easier, I have handpicked three talks which will help you rise above the pack.

1. Renny Gleeson (Feb 2012), 404 – The Story of a Page Not Found

Renny discusses how too many of us are missing the opportunity of turning an error into an opportunity.

Little things done right matter…well-designed moments can build brands”

2. Rory Sutherland (July 2009), Life Lessons From an Adman

Rory highlights how we can create greater value by tinkering with perception rather than changing reality.

We need to spend more time appreciating what already exists and less time agonising on what else we can do”

3. Barry Schwartz (May 2005), The Paradox of Choice

Barry argues that the old cliché of less is more should be adopted by far more brands in order to improve consumer’s experience.

As the number of choices grows further, the negatives escalate until we become overloaded. At this point, choice no longer liberates, but debilitates”

With Barry’s talk in mind, I’ll limit my favourites to just three. If you have any of your own favourites that I may have missed please share them below.
